Hi.
This question is mainly regarding the Certified Journeyman Institutional Locksmith test (CJIL), although, feedback on the CMIL (Certified Master Institutional Locksmith) test would be appreciated too.
The electives are clearly stated as to their topics; i.e., KABA Peaks, Medeco, etc....
In the past, I believe I've been told that the CJIL mandatory test is more "specific" than the CIL test - sounded like you needed to memorize catalogs, etc. I HOPE this is not the case - I find little value in memorizing tons of part numbers - unless one is in sales "maybe" ...
So, I'm basically asking: What is the scope of topics on the CJIL mandatory test?
Also, is it true that the CMIL does not require a mandatory test, but only additional elective tests?
Thanks,
Murf
